Episode 76: Are Humanists Satanists? with Jennifer Hancock
The title is a bit tongue-in-cheek, but it does come up on the show and Humanism is the primary subject in Eli’s interview with Jennifer Hancock. Before that, Lamar and Eli spend a good hour and a half discussing current events and listener mail.
NOTE: This show was recorded on October 1, 2011 and the interview with Jennifer Hancock was recorded even earlier. We sincerely apologize for the lateness of this release.

Eli I believe you mispronounced the name of the shul at which Antonin Scalia spoke at. You pronounced it Doo Kwezny I believe the correct pronunciation is Doo Kane.
You know the long tirade on the Tamil Tigers actually shows you really don’t know what is at stake. The Tamils are not JUST a religious demarcation, but also an ethnic one. ( http://www.cfr.org/terrorist-organizations/liberation-tigers-tamil-eelam-aka-tamil-tigers-sri-lanka-separatists/p9242#p2)
There was no long tirade on the Tamil Tigers. I brought them up because religious apologists often cite them as an example of a secular group that engages in suicide attacks. My point is that the Tamil Tigers are not secular individually, but are quite religious.
Anyway, the reason we didn’t go into any further detail about them is because they had very little to do with the actual topic being discussed. In fact, the only reason I gave any information about them at all was because Eli wasn’t familiar with them.
